From 2002 to 2021, the National Student Union had a research agency that conducted research into current and education-related topics. These studies were carried out through the union’s own student panel, among other means.
The LSVb board, LSVb departments, external parties such as HBO employee participation bodies, LOF and the research agency itself set the research agenda. Because the research agency itself decided on the design and implementation of studies, it functioned independently and objectively within the LSVb, although it regularly collaborated with other organisations. The results were published in the form of research reports. Conclusions from the reports supported the LSVb in the public debate. The research agency assists the LSVb in identifying bottlenecks and determining its position and arguments on all matters concerning students.
The research agency no longer conducts research itself, but the LSVb is still open to collaborations for research in the field of student life in the Netherlands. If you would like to collaborate with us on a research project, please contact lsvb@lsvb.nl.
