The Student Pact was drawn up as a measure against inappropriate behaviour and sexual violence. In collaboration with several (student) organisations, 30 concrete measures have been identified to make student life safer.
Two out of three students experience inappropriate behaviour. Student organisations and institutions often do not know how to deal with this. The Student Pact supports these organisations in preventing inappropriate behaviour, clarifying the necessary steps to take after an incident, providing aftercare for the affected student(s) and bringing about cultural change.
In order to organise the safest possible student life, it is important that the largest possible number of student organisations and/or associations sign the Student Pact and implement the specific measures.
Call on your organisation to do so! You can do this by email, WhatsApp, or by talking to them. Here you can find an example of a text you can send.
The student pact was drawn up by the “Lieve Mark” Foundation, the GELIJKSPEL Foundation, confidential advisors Virgiel, the National Chamber of Associations, the Intercity Student Consultation, the National Youth Council and the National Student Union, on the initiative of Mariëtte Hamer, Government Commissioner for Sexual Transgressive Behaviour and Sexual Violence.
