Approximately 16% of students in the Netherlands are international students. As a student organisation, the LSVb represents all students studying in the Netherlands. This means that international students automatically belong to our constituency and it is our job to represent them as well. The problems they encounter are often fundamentally different from those faced by Dutch students in the Netherlands. Solving these problems therefore requires an international approach. We do this by distributing surveys and organising round tables where international students can raise issues. In addition, we are trying to become more visible to international students in the Netherlands.
